These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MentForge platform ("Platform"), operated by ONEG Engineering Services Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Republic of Ghana. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
"Platform" means the MentForge software-as-a-service application accessible at mentforge.com and all subdomains, including mobile and desktop applications.
"User" means any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform, including Interns, Mentors, Administrators, and Stakeholders.
"Intern" means a participant enrolled in a mentorship or training program operated through the Platform.
"Mentor" means an individual who provides mentorship, training, or advisory services through the Platform.
"Content" means any data, text, files, documents, images, or other materials uploaded, submitted, or generated through the Platform.
"Organization" means the entity that subscribes to or operates a program through the Platform.
2. Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Users between 16 and 18 may use the Platform with parental or program administrator consent.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
You must immediately notify us at info@mentforge.com if you become aware of unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.
3. Platform Services
The Platform provides mentor-mentee matching, session booking, project management, stipend tracking, business finance tracking, SROI reporting, growth readiness scoring, work profile generation, attendance tracking, and notifications — all on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
4. Important Disclaimers
Not a Financial Institution. The Platform is a record-keeping and reporting tool. It does not hold, transfer, process, or guarantee any funds. All financial transactions occur outside the Platform through your own channels.
Not Financial Advice. P&L statements, SROI calculations, and Readiness Scores are based on user-entered data and are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, or business advice.
Not an Employment Relationship. No employer-employee, contractor, or partnership relationship is created between any Users or between Users and the Company through use of the Platform.
No Guarantee of Outcomes. The Company does not guarantee any business outcomes, profitability, employment, funding, or investment from using the Platform.
Data Accuracy. The Platform displays data as entered by Users. The Company does not independently verify the accuracy of user-entered data. Users are solely responsible for their data accuracy.
5. User Obligations
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms.
Provide truthful and accurate information in all data entries.
Not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliations.
Not enter fabricated, inflated, or fraudulent financial data.
Not harass, abuse, or harm other Users.
Not attempt unauthorized access to other Users' accounts or data.
Not reverse-engineer or extract the source code of the Platform.
Comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of Ghana.
6. Intellectual Property
Platform IP. The Platform and all related intellectual property is owned by ONEG Engineering Services Ltd. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform.
User Content. Users retain ownership of Content they upload. By uploading Content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display such Content solely for operating the Platform.
7. Disbursement and Financial Tracking
The Platform provides tools to track and record disbursements and transactions. It does not process, hold, or transfer funds. The Company is not liable for any loss, delay, or dispute arising from financial transactions between Users or Organizations.
8. Mentorship Relationships
Mentors and Interns are independent parties. The Company does not control or supervise mentoring content. The listing of a Mentor does not constitute an endorsement of their qualifications.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. The Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or interaction with other Users.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall first be submitted to mediation, and if unsuccessful, to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Accra, Ghana.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
